It's so true! I have now watched this film at least 6 or 7 times, and I'm looking for more viewings! I love it. Reeves and the cast, many of whose voices are used for more than one character, are stars in the pantheon of radio drama of yesteryear. This film has a lot of its look from Mario Bava, whose lush style has quite a following. Enjoy! ...

It is the damndest thing how this movie grew on me. Sure, it’s not “Two Women,” but it’s inventive, earnest and simply fun to watch. The freak-Queen (check out her fat chin) is racy stuff for the ‘50’s. Funniest “bad” moments: The hissy-fits Hercules has during the amnesia induced by the “waters of forgetfulness.” ...
